Korea’s Airport Fashion
The spotlight is on in the latest trends in Korea today. Korean Celebrities are glitterly and fabulously  stylish from red carpet to airport catwalk and they are making it one hell of a fashion runway! (glitterly?!! can't believe I wrote that! I just invented that word haha!)
Before celebrities board a plane or after they land, celebrities are extremely making their best effort to look good for cameras and they are hardly unnoticed once they walk around the airport. Wearing huge sun glasses doesn’t hide them from the peculiar eye of media folks but instead complete their styles with flare.  Whether it’s for long flights or short trip, you can see them wearing chic, or comfy, or casual, or elegant, or sexy, or simple, or flamboyant outfit. Most of their outfit whether best or worst, always garnered attention and often became news and hot topic of netizens.   An avant garde in fashion, Korea’s crazy airport fashion trend is really something to look forward to.

Glamorous  KPOP girl groups that always made it in news are SNSD,2NE1,WONDER GIRLS,KARA, MISS A, T-ARA, 4MINUTE,AFTER SCHOOL, F(X), SISTAR19  while modish boy groups are BIGBANG, B2ST, 2PM and INFINITE.(click each name to read the article)

I also selected few Hallyu icon that always on their best and they are Yoon Eun HyeCL of 2NE1Bae Suzy of Miss A, Jessica of SNSD,  Park Yoo Chun, Lee Min Ho, Hyun BinHyunseung of Beast, Yunho of DBSK,  GD and TOP of Bigbang. (click each name to read the article)

Feast your eyes with these fashion style of KPOP icons. (and because I am not into fashion, I just classify each of these on basic outfit - ok, you can shoot me.)

Chic and comfy in short shorts.

Sweet and stylish in dresses

Sexy in Skirts

Soft or Denim pants

Celebrity men are  also worth swooning over.
 From safe monotone color ..

To Colorful Tops and Jackets.

My pick for best dressed men (in terms of style) are -

Lee Min Ho (though he always playing it safe on dark and safe color)

Top of BigBang (he sports different style, fabric, and color)

However, some KPOP idols were honestly admitted that they got stressed sometimes because of this frenzy airport fashion. Confessions of 4MINUTE, Gayoon of 4Minute, Son Dam Bi, Tifanny of SNSDHan Seung Yeon, and Huh Ga Yoon(click each name to read the article)

Voice out if your KPOP idol is traveling with style too! Tell me and I will add him/her on the list.

Selca (셀카)
Have you heard of this term before? Maybe this slang word is extremely familiar to you if you’re following the high tide of Hallyu stardom.
Selca is a combination of two words “self camera” picture or “self capture” image, SEL (for Self) and CA (for Camera) and of course this word originated in Korea.
This selca rage started even before camera phone were invented. This self taking picture almost became a habit of many youngsters, especially high school students using their handy dandy camera. Posing and making faces with friends and classmates and they will post these fun and creative images on their personal social site or page. Making selca is so much easy today because of camera phone, much personalized, expressive, creative and more fun. It became youth’s way of expressing themselves and if you have Facebook account maybe you’ll see your friends making one or two Selcas too!
This is also eminent in the world of KPOP. Korean celebrities are famous in making selca, one simple selca (and sometimes each selca of KPOP stars) can be a big news in showbiz entertainment.  They’re making selca, either to update their fans on their activity or by simply expressing themselves; usually they’ll post their selca on their Twitter or Me2day account and below is a compilation of popular selca poses.

What’s the best place to enjoy and have fun this summer?

There are so many places to be in awe and enjoy this hot season. Place for kids and adults to  have fun and share bonding moments. Beaches and lakes and pools, oh my! All the water and the warmth and the suntan lotion, towels, wet hair and the sand. This summer you'll surely have salt water hair or  the chlorine hair or the nasty-lake hair. Get some sun kissed skin, wear bikini, and the volleyball games. Few things to do this marvelous summer. All we need is that perfect summer get away!!!

For Filipinos you've probably been to these places I’m going to recommend.  If you haven’t yet, you can always plan a trip. After all it’s summer and it’s synonymous with vacation.

Like what it website's slogan: Tagaytay is probably the most pleasant city in Asia!
With its cool climate and clean air, Tagaytay City is the perfect place for leisure activities like picnics, horseback riding, camping and sightseeing. For our foreign friends, it offers a relaxing and safe haven where you can unwind and lay back after your long haul flight. Tagaytay is just a hop, skip and a jump from Manila's NAIA International Airport - about 90 minutes away.

Pagsanjan, Laguna.

Well what is summer without visiting the Summer Capital of the Philippines? Baguio is also known as the Summer Capital of the Philippines, City of Pines, City of Mines, City of Flowers, Garden City of the Philippines, and Ukay-Ukay Capital of the Philippines!!! Yeah, I also added that ukay-ukay thing. Ha-ha!

So what's good things to do on this wonderful city of pines? I found the list of best things to do click Relax in Baguio. Baguio is gifted with a variety of cultural, historical and scenic attractions that make it an important and interesting destination. Boasting great natural beauty, chilly weather, a tourist-friendly people and extraordinary vistas, the City of Pines is the culmination of your search for the idyllic escape from the tropical heat of the Philippine lowlands.

Anawagin cove, Zambales.

The Anawangin Cove is by far the most popular destination for campers and beach goers alike. Just the mention of the name Zambales will ring a bell for those who have gone to the cove that a trip to Pundaquit is never complete without feeling Anawangin’s mixture of volcanic ash and white sand beneath your feet. Anawangin is the nearest cove from the town proper of Pundaquit. It also is currently the most visited and developed amongst its neighboring coves. Owned by a local family who also lives in Pundaquit, they make sure that the place is well maintained  and the shores are regularly cleaned by it’s caretakers.

Camsur, Caramoan Island

Very few Filipino known about Caramoan. This is one of the place that I love to visit one day. Isolated from the rest of Camarines Sur, it is no surprise why Philippine's Secret Paradise remains unexploited from commercial tourism. Caramoan gives 'island hopping' a new meaning. Enjoy its beauty in many ways. Great ocean adventures for kayakers, snorkle and scuba dive to experience the diverse marine life, trek and search for the enigmatic lagoon, rock climb the limestone cliffs, explore the caves or just star gaze at night.

Bellaroca Resort, Marinduque.
Discerning travellers in search of their next unexplored destination need to look no further than the Philippine Islands. With its white Santorini-inspired architecture on rolling terrain contrasted with the azure blue of the sky above and the clear water below, Bellarocca Island Resort and Spa offers a fantastic experience unlike any other place in the Philippines and across South-East Asia.

Coron

Coron Island Palawan is a wedge-shaped limestone island, with few of its coastal areas being covered by mangrove forests. It has seven lakes, famous of which is the nationally-acclaimed cleanest lake in the Philippines, the Kayangan Lake. It also has a number of islands with white beaches and clear blue waters perfect for snorkeling, deepsea fishing and shipwreck diving.

Boracay

Boracay, as the best beach for year 2012, has more than ten distinctive beaches nestled in the coves surrounding the infamous island. All of them feature the same powdery white sand that has undoubtedly made the island prominent around the world. By far, the most popular beach is a seven-kilometer stretch, officially called White Beach.

Amanpulo

Named after the Sanskrit word for peace, aman, and the Tagalog word for island, Amanpulo is a serene retreat offering the pure white sands, turquoise seas and endless blue skies for which the Philippine archipelago is famed. The entire island of Pamalican is dedicated to Amanpulo, fringed by seven square kilometres of pristine coral reef and lapped by the tranquil Sulu Sea.

Puerto Princesa
Aptly nicknamed “the city in a forest,” Puerto Princesa city’s attractions have much to do with its natural wonders and commitment to the environment. In fact, it’s been named the Philippines’ cleanest and greenest city, and has been internationally recognized for environmental excellence.Puerto Princesa’s pride is easily the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River (or Underground River), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. For the brave, exotic food choices await. The ever popular Kinabuchs Grill and Bar serves tamilok (shipworm) and crocodile meat. The less adventurous can head for Ka Lui for their creative seafood dishes.

Guimaras, Iloilo
Guimaras Island is a favored destination by both foreign and domestic tourists because of its picturesque beaches, waterfalls, springs, off shore islets, and its famous mangoes, which is considered one of the sweetest in the world.

Cebu

The best and one of the favorite travel destinations for tourist around the world, Cebu offers a relaxing and serene environment with its pristine white beaches, fine white sands and crystalline waters. If you think you haven’t been to paradise then definitely you haven’t been to Cebu. The tropical paradise with a touch of elegance and serenity.

Carbin Reef (Sagay, Negros Occidental)

The white sand beach and pristine waters of Carbin Reef is also ideal for swimming. However, Carbin Reef is best experienced when snorkeling or diving. Even in shallow water, there are corals and coral fishes to see. Make sure you bring your own gears since there are no available rentals at the site. For those who are not into snorkeling, there’s also a glass bottom boat rented out for P30 per person. Carbin Reef is for the adventurous nature lover. A wealth of natural beauty lies beneath its surface. See it so you can also appreciate and understand why it should be protected so that the next generation can enjoy its bounty.

Momo Beach (Panglao, Bohol)

Momo Beach is located at Brgy. Tangnan. Like the other beaches of Panglao Island, it is likewise blessed with white sand and crystal blue waters. A wonderful wall and slope diving site can be found near the beach with a depth of 40m where nudibranches, leaf fishes, red-eyed goby, harlequin file fish, pajama cardinal fish and many kinds of juvenile wrasse are sighted.

Siargao

Siargao Island is onthe eastern side of the province of Surigao del Norte. Siargao Island and the surrounding islands are some of the most beautiful and untouched gems in the Pacific. Boat to Sohoton caves, learn how to surf, lay on the beach, or just read in a hammock. The main attraction, of course, is the stunning surf of Cloud 9, locating steps away right in front of our Siargao Island resort.
